Equal opportunities
Josie Hastings of Equip Training runs these workshops regularly for the West Midlands Deanery. There will be sessions on Friday morning and afternoon so that everyone will have the opportunity to attend. By attending this workshop, you will be able to fulfil the PMETB requirements for all trainers. Josie has provided an extensive handout which, to save some trees, is available to download here.
Cased based discussion
The morning workshop will be facilitated by Mike Deighan, who as you know, has led on the development of the GP curriculum and will be coming to Puckrup bringing the latest news of the nMRCGP. He has prepared a guide to the curriculum for learners and teachers that you can download here.
Coaching for trainers - Sylvia Chudley
Sylvia is well known to you all in her role as Associate Dean for communication skills. She also has trained and qualified as a coach. This workshop intends to demonstrate how developing coaching skills can be helpful in GPR training.
It is likely that, because of all the other work we are getting her to do, Sylvia will be able to run this workshop only once. However she can accommodate more participants than the other workshops.
